In anticipation of the US Open, Citi Taste of Tennis will once again bring together a night of delectable cuisine, lively music, and mingling with tennis stars at Gotham Hall in New York. Mark your calendars for Thursday, August 22, 2024, from 7 PM to 10 PM.
Join us in welcoming tennis back to New York as you socialize with current and past players, indulge in mouthwatering dishes and cocktails, and dance to DJ Irie’s beats. Hosted by Prakash Amritraj, a former player and current Tennis Channel commentator, the event will feature appearances by top players like Alex De Minaur, Katie Boulter, Taylor Fritz, Zheng Qinwen, Alexander Zverev, Caroline Wozniacki, Alex Michelsen, Alycia Parks, and more (players subject to availability). In the past, tennis stars like Nick Kyrgios, Holger Rune, Sloane Stephens, Paula Badosa, Ons Jabeur, Marta Kostyuk, Stefanos Tsitsipas, Belinda Bencic, Venus Williams, and others have graced the event.
Legendary player Andre Agassi, along with chefs like Antonio Bachour and Mitsuharu “Micha” Tsumura, will judge a cooking showdown between top chefs and tennis celebrities. Antonio Bachour is a two-time World’s Best Pastry Chef, while Mitsuharu “Micha” Tsumura was named Best Chef in Peru in 2023 and his restaurant is currently ranked as the 5th best in the world.
Not only that, other chefs like Tom Goetter, Julian Medina, Sujan Sarkar, Jack Logue, Kannika Kittipinyovathhas, Andy Gaskin, Paramjeet Bombra, Mike Viola, Frances Tariga, Nicolas Lopez, German Villatoro, Javon Cummins, Dameain Williams, Glenn Rolnick, Michael Ingino, Admir Alibasic, Suzanne Cupps, Shorne Benjamin, Tami Lewis, and more will also be showcasing their culinary skills.
