Indiana Fever rookie Caitlin Clark is taking advantage of her month-long break from the WNBA by vacationing in Mexico with teammates Lexie Hull and Katie Lou Samuelson.
Despite helping Team WNBA defeat Team USA in the WNBA All-Star Game, Clark is looking forward to the break. She mentioned at a press conference that she is excited to relax and take a break from basketball, as she has been consistently playing for the past year with little rest.
Clark, who had a short offseason after finishing her college season in April and starting her WNBA career in May, did not make the cut for the United States national team for the Summer Olympics. While she aspires to win an Olympic medal in the future, she is enjoying her vacation in Mexico after a demanding start to her WNBA career.
