Las Vegas Aces center A’ja Wilson is no stranger to writing her name in the WNBA record books.

The 29-year-old two-time WNBA champion is the Aces’ all-time leader in points (5,371) and rebounds (2,335), and she owns several WNBA records including most points scored in a single game (54), most points scored in a single-season (1,021), most career 40-point games (four), most consecutive regular-season games with 20 or more points (20), most regular-season games with 25 or more points (eight), and most points scored in first 20 games of a season (540).

In Sunday’s 94-86 victory over the Connecticut Sun—the Aces’ fourth straight win—Wilson added another accolade to her already impressive resume.

Wilson, a seven-time All-Star, three-time MVP, two-time Defensive Player of the Year, and WNBA Finals MVP, scored a game-high 32 points along with 20 rebounds, five assists, and two steals, becoming the first player in WNBA history to record a 30-20 game.

It was Wilson’s fifth 30-point game and fourth game with 15 or more rebounds this season. It also marked her 14th double-double of the year, moving her into a tie with Indiana Fever forward Aliyah Boston for the third-most double-doubles.

Wilson has hit double-digit points in every game but one, double-digit rebounds in 18 games, and she’s been Vegas’ leading scorer in 21 of its 32 games this season.

“And just like that she stole the MVP lead from Phee 😅 what a game,” one fan wrote.

“Idgaf about the MVP thing, I’m just happy to be able to witness this level of greatness in real time from multiple different players,” another fan replied.

“A’ja just rewrote the record books and made it look routine. Dominance on both ends—this is MVP-level history in motion. 🔥,” a third fan exclaimed.
