WNBA star A’ja Wilson fondly recalled some of the humorous moments she experienced on the bench with the Las Vegas Aces. These memories resurfaced for Wilson after her teammate Chelsea Gray posted on her Instagram story about teasing one of their teammates.
Like Gray, Wilson also shared the post on her Instagram story. The two Aces players shared the post mocking three-time All-Star Jackie Young’s fall.
“Dramaaaaaaaaa,” Wilson jokingly posted.
“This was actually hilarious!” Gray tagged Young on her post.
“Cause why did she fall like that?” Gray playfully asked Wilson.

Star rookie outperformed A’ja Wilson in sales
The WNBA experienced a surge in attendance, attention, and sales during the 2024 season due to the Caitlin Clark effect. Clark’s popularity attracted new fans and overshadowed established stars like three-time MVP A’ja Wilson.
The “@wnbacardscom” X (previously Twitter) account revealed the values of Clark’s rookie cards compared to Wilson’s. The “Caitlin Clark Black Gold Auto” card, the least expensive of Clark’s cards, surpassed Wilson’s “A’ja Wilson Signatures GV” in value.
Clark’s rookie cards, including “Selections GV” and “Sparks Patch,” are valued at over $10,000, with some exceeding $50,000 in worth. In total, Clark’s five rookie basketball cards are valued at $216,672, showcasing a notable difference in value between the top pick of the 2024 WNBA Draft and the current MVP, Wilson.
Additionally, despite Wilson’s impressive accolades as a six-time All-Star, two-time champion, and two-time Defensive Player of the Year, Clark’s rookie card values continue to outshine hers in the market.
