“A’ja (Wilson) Is Disgusting”: 3x WNBA Champion Drops a Hilarious Yet Intriguing Comment on Aces Teammate

A’ja Wilson has solidified herself as one of the best WNBA players. Wilson boasts two MVP awards, a WNBA Finals MVP, and two WNBA titles at just 27 years old. Above all, Wilson is surrounded by supportive teammates like Alysha Clark, who often praise her. The exhibit of which was seen recently in an interview where Clark had something intriguing to add for the Aces’ center.

In a recent appearance, Alysha Clark talked about her teammate’s impressive scores and skills on the court. “A’ja is disgusting in the most beautiful way,” she said, via Hoffman Women’s Sport. “The stuff that she does, the way that she scores, the way that she impacts the game, even off the court.”

As of now, Wilson has secured the most rebounds in the history of the Women’s Basketball League. Additionally, she also boasts the highest average of 28 points per game. Mesmerized by Wilson’s on-court skills, Clark could not hold herself from praising her teammate. She added, “If she’s sitting in the room with you, you would never know that she’s the player or the superstar she is, and that’s along with all the amazing players that I’ve been with.”

For those unaware, Clark isn’t celebrating Wilson for the first time. In the last matchup against New York Liberty in mid-June, Wilson got emotional in the postgame presser because despite scoring a dominant 21 points, Liberty emerged victorious. But, seeing her teammate emotional, Clark took to X and wrote, “My girl. One of the best I’ve ever been around. Love you @_ajawilson22!”

However, it isn’t just Clark; Wilson also focuses on making her on-court friends feel better. But how?

Recently, Wilson brought a cake for her gay friend Sydney Colson just to tell them that she appreciates and accepts them as they are. As it was Pride Month, she found the occasion apt for celebration. To share this with the spectators, Colson posted a picture of her pink cake that had a hilarious message written on it.

To elaborate further, Wilson shared, “Every year, I get my prideful teammates a cake for Pride Month. This year’s cake was top tier and straight to the point for ’em.” By doing this, Wilson proved that she cares a lot about her mates, whether on or off the court. Quite evidently, one of the major reasons behind Wilson’s success is her teammates’ support.

Wilson is now preparing to add another Olympic gold to her list of accolades. The last time she accomplished a similar feat was in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
