A’ja Wilson made history in the WNBA by becoming the second player to win the league’s MVP award unanimously. She received all 67 first-place votes from the media panel, totaling 670 points. Wilson had previously won the award in both 2020 and 2022. The only other player to achieve a unanimous MVP win was Cynthia Cooper in 1997.
Napheesa Collier of the Minnesota Lynx came in second in the voting with 467 points, receiving 66 out of 67 second-place votes. Breanna Stewart of the New York team received the remaining second-place vote, finishing in third place with 295 points.
Indiana Fever rookie Caitlin Clark secured fourth place with 130 points, followed by Alyssa Thomas of Connecticut in fifth place with 83 points.
