Devastating knockouts from left hooks seem to be a tradition in the Pereira family.
UFC light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira was ringside in Salt Lake City at Karate Combat 50 to support his sister, Aline Pereria, in her fight against Dee Begley.
Unfortunately for Begley, who weighed nine pounds more than the agreed-upon weight, she fell victim to a signature Pereira combo.
Aline landed a right hand followed by a left hook that sent Begley crashing to the mat. Aline then rushed in and continued to deliver punches until the referee intervened with about 35 seconds left in the first round.
The celebration ensued, with Aline embracing Alex while Begley dealt with a bloody nose.

During her post-fight interview, Pereira mentioned that she learned the combo from her brother and expressed frustration with Begley for missing weight and lacking professionalism.
Aline, who shares a kickboxing background with her brother Alex, made a memorable debut in the Karate Combat pit. With a 1-2 record as an MMA fighter, her most recent fight was in September 2023.
Currently, Aline is eager to return to Karate Combat and continue to impress.
October has been a successful month for the Pereira family, as Alex defended his light heavyweight title for the third time by defeating Khalil Rountree at UFC 307 in a thrilling Fight of the Night.
