Mexican fan favorites Alexa Grasso and Diego Lopes are set to make appearances at the highly anticipated Noche UFC event at the Sphere this Fall.
Following the success of last year’s Mexican Independence Day celebration, Las Vegas will once again host the UFC’s festivities for the occasion in 2024, this time at a larger venue.
Unlike previous years at the T-Mobile Arena, Noche UFC will take place inside the Sphere for UFC 306. UFC CEO Dana White has promised a unique and unforgettable event since committing to hosting the first live sporting event at the venue.
With the September 14 date approaching, the UFC 306 lineup is coming together.
White recently announced the main card, with Sean O’Malley defending his bantamweight title against Merab Dvalishvili in the main event.
The co-headliner will feature Grasso and Valentina Shevchenko in a championship rematch following their controversial draw at last year’s Noche UFC.
Diego Lopes, Grasso’s teammate and jiu-jitsu coach, will also have a significant fight at the Sphere. After his victory at UFC 303 last month, the rising featherweight is set for another bout.
Additional fights on the main card include Daniel Zellhuber vs. Esteban Ribovics and Ronaldo Rodriguez vs. Ode’ Osbourne.
On the preliminary card, fans can expect matchups like Manuel Torres vs. Ignacio Bahamondes and Irene Aldana vs. Norma Dumont.
