Clark had previously expressed her desire to have dinner with Serena Williams.
Alexis Ohanian, the co-owner of Reddit and husband of tennis legend Serena Williams, has sent an open invitation to WNBA superstar, Caitlin Clark. Ohanian’s invitation came in response to Clark’s wish of having dinner with the 23-time Grand Slam singles winner.
Recently, Alexis Ohanian accurately predicted that WNBA Prizm cards would be more expensive than NBA Prizm cards. After tagging Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark in his post, a fan responded by sharing a video of the 23-year-old expressing her desire to have dinner with Serena Williams.
In the video, Clark was asked “If you could have dinner with any celebrity who would it be?” The 2024 WNBA Rookie of the Year had a one-word response to it and said, “Serena Williams”. As Ohanian came across the video, he extended an open invitation to the WNBA’s rising star and said, “C’mon now Caitlin Clark (@CaitlinClark22), there’s an open invitation at our home!”
Notably, Ohanian has been an active supporter of women in sports. He has time and again advocated for gender equality in sports and made several investments in women’s sports teams.

“The WNBA is lucky to have her”- Alexis Ohanian as Serena Williams joins ownership of Toronto Tempo
The American businessman was all praise for his wife, former tennis champion Serena Williams for her latest venture. Recently, the former World No. 1 joined the ownership group of the WNBA’s first Canadian franchise, the Toronto Tempo.
At the franchise, she will collaborate with Larry Tanenbaum, Chairman of Kilmer Sports Ventures for the Tempo. As Williams reached another milestone, Ohanian praised her and opined that owners like Serena Wiliams will ensure the growth and support to women in this new era.
He also added that the WNBA is lucky to have Serena on board, posting, “Couldn’t imagine a better owner for Toronto than Serena Williams (@serenawilliams) — the Tempo just got an owner who CHAMPIONS women & excellence — made a career being her authentic self — opening doors for a generation & reshaping the sports world around her — the WNBA is lucky to have her.”
