In just a few weeks, Aliyah Boston will be making her debut in the first season of Unrivaled, a 3×3 full-court league. Boston is clearly excited to be part of this new venture, as shown in her recent Instagram story.

The reigning 2023 WNBA Rookie of the Year is among the 36 athletes set to compete in the first Unrivaled season. The league roster also features players like Sabrina Ionescu, Angel Reese, DiJonai Carrington, and Kate Martin.
Co-founded by WNBA stars Napheesa Collier and Breanna Stewart — who will both be playing — Unrivaled provides a platform for WNBA players to showcase their skills in the offseason.
Aliyah Boston Prepares for Unrivaled and Works on Her Game
Boston, who confirmed her participation in Unrivaled last October, is coming off her second season with the Fever. While her scoring has dipped from her rookie year, Boston has made strides in rebounding and assists.
Determined to improve in every aspect of her game, Boston has been working hard even before the Unrivaled season commences, training under a new mentor figure.
Before the end of 2024, Boston shared footage of a workout session with Keith Porter, the new Indiana Fever player development coach:
“Keith is the real deal!” Boston’s caption read. “great work”
The video shows Porter assisting Boston in refining her shooting form, footwork, and defensive skills. Boston displayed focus and precision in executing each drill given by Porter.
As the 2025 WNBA season approaches, Boston will be under the guidance of new head coach Stephanie White, who commended both Boston and rookie Caitlin Clark during her introductory press conference:
“These two [Boston and Clark] are the best. They are gonna go down as the greatest,” White said.
Boston aims to prove her coach right by showcasing her improvement in the offseason, including her participation in Unrivaled.
