NPCs have become a significant aspect of the game in recent Fortnite Chapters. They have introduced rare exotic weapons, the ability to transform into a prop, and even the option to have them join you as a permanent teammate! However, locating Fortnite character locations can be challenging as they frequently change, sometimes even outside of the regular update schedule.
If you consistently land in the same Fortnite spots, you may end up only encountering half of the NPCs throughout an entire season. Familiarizing yourself with all the Fortnite character locations can greatly expand your gameplay options.
The newer Chapters have introduced specialists among NPCs, offering more valuable assistance compared to the previous hireable NPCs. These specialists can heal you, ping enemies, and provide various advantages during gameplay. They can significantly impact your chances of winning a game and are sometimes the only way to obtain the best Fortnite Mythics.
Knowing the exact locations of NPCs in Fortnite is crucial. This knowledge allows you to easily locate any services or resources you may need, regardless of where you are on the map. Understanding where to find NPCs and what services they offer can give you a competitive edge. Here is a list of all the character locations.

The NPCs in this season are unique, with fewer hireable ones and less overpowered items for sale, except for Gwenpool. This is a departure from previous seasons where Mythic Shotguns were commonly sold.
Specialist NPC Locations
In addition to normal NPCs, there are new specialist NPCs who offer more utility as hired helpers. These specialists offer different functions and can enhance your gameplay significantly. Here are the specialists and their locations:
– Artemis – Scout Specialist
– Centurion – Supply Specialist

This season features fewer overall character locations but more specialists. Hireable characters can be especially beneficial in Solos, where the additional teammates can provide assistance with the various items available on the map.
These NPCs now perform specific tasks once hired, and in recent seasons, you can even direct them with your pings. The types of specialists you can encounter include Scouts, Supply Specialists, Heavy Specialists, and Medic Specialists.
