As anticipated, one of the highlights of the All-Star weekend for the WNBA was the thrilling three-point shooting contest.
A total of five women participated, including three guards – Alicia Gray, Marina May, and Kayla McBride, as well as two post players – Jonquel Jones of the New York Liberty and Stephanie Dolson.
Alicia Gray made history by becoming the first player to win both the skills competition and the three-point shooting contest. The final round was intense, with Jonquel Jones having the chance to tie Gray’s score but ultimately missing her last shot, securing the victory for Gray.
It was a memorable weekend for Gray, who is often recognized as one of the most underrated players in the league. Thank you for watching our coverage. For more updates, stay tuned.
