Chicago Sky forward Angel Reese had an impressive rookie season with averages of 13.6 points and 13.1 rebounds per game, but unfortunately, a wrist injury cut her season short.
Despite her success, Reese recognizes areas of improvement in her game that she aims to work on during the offseason.
Recently, she shared a list of aspects she wants to enhance before the next WNBA season, as reported by Julia Poe of The Chicago Tribune: nutrition, footwork, finishing through contact, and outside shooting.
One of Reese’s weaknesses is her shooting, with her low percentages from beyond the arc and overall. Improving in this area will be a focus for her training.
The Sky missed the playoffs by two games, which hasn’t happened since 2018. However, with a stronger and improved Reese, Chicago may have a better chance of making it to the postseason next year.
