Chicago Sky rookie Angel Reese has done it again.
Reese recorded her 19th double-double of the season on Saturday with 14 points and 11 rebounds in the Sky’s 90-86 win over the Los Angeles Sparks.

Reese wasn’t the only Sky rookie who shone in the team’s first game back from the WNBA’s break for the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Kamilla Cardoso recorded 15 points and 14 rebounds in the Sky’s win, marking the WNBA-leading fourth time this season the duo have recorded matching double-doubles in the same night.

Reese’s 19th double-double of the season comes after the rookie set a WNBA record in July by achieving the feat in 15 straight games.

Reese went 4-of-13 from the floor and 6-of-8 from the foul line in the victory, but she stood out most for her defensive efforts.
The rookie pulled down 10 defensive rebounds on her way to the double double, and was also effective as a matchup with three-time All-Star Dearica Hamby.
