Chicago Sky rookie forward Angel Reese is addressing the increasing conversation around racist incidents directed at WNBA players.
In response to ESPN’s Andraya Carter highlighting the league’s issues, Reese shared her personal experiences of feeling mistreated over the past two years.
“Y’all know I’ve been going through this for the last 2 years but was told ‘save the tears’ & ‘stop playing victim’,” Reese expressed on her social media Thursday night. “Y’all a little late to the party and could have tried to put out this fire way before it started….”
