Angel Reese is gearing up for the Unrivaled League’s first season while bringing some Gen-Z energy to the practice facility. In a TikTok challenge, she had Unrivaled players finish the lyrics to LiAngelo Ball’s song “Tweaker.” Some players embraced the challenge, while others were shy to participate.
Players like Kahleah Cooper, Dearica Hamby, Rae Burrell, and Alyssa Thomas were asked to join in the fun. Reese kept teasing Hamby for not knowing the lyrics well and Cooper for being lost. Thomas adamantly refused to sing, while Chelsea Gray had a humorous reaction and joined in right away.

Stephen A. Smith’s Take on Angel Reese’s Social Media Backlash
After facing backlash for her outfit on New Year’s, Angel Reese deleted her Instagram account. Stephen A. Smith weighed in on the situation, comparing Reese’s brand handling to that of Caitlin Clark. He expressed concerns about Reese potentially being objectified due to her fashion choices.
“What’s not debatable is how Caitlin Clark has handled her brand,” Smith said. “With Angel Reese, you sometimes find yourself scratching your head, wondering what the hell she’s doing, like that photo right there.”
“She’s a beautiful young lady, and there are a lot of beautiful young ladies in the WNBA, but you can’t come down the line and complain about being objectified later on. It’s not going to work with people. When you do stuff like that and draw attention to yourself, that can be problematic for you, especially when the comparison is going to be drawn to Caitlin Clark who isn’t doing such things.” [48:00]
Angel Reese continues to share updates on TikTok and X (formerly Twitter) as she prepares for the Unrivaled League debut on Jan. 17.
