Caitlin Clark’s WNBA rookie season was record-breaking, despite facing severe doubts from critics. A ranking of the league’s top 10 offensive players placed Clark seventh, below Storm’s $500,000 All-Star Jewell Lloyd.

However, Lloyd’s shooting percentages were 36.0% from the floor and 27.4% from 3, averaging 19.7 points per game. In contrast, Clark, as a rookie, averaged almost the same points as Lloyd (19.2) with shooting percentages of 41.2% overall and 34.4% from 3.

Although Clark’s shooting efficiency was not as highlighted, it was significantly better than Lloyd’s. Clark’s fans took issue online after the ranking went viral.

Caitlin Clark’s sophomore WNBA season brings high expectations
