ISTANBUL, TUR – Longtime Mystics guard Ariel Atkins scored 30 points in her overseas team’s final two matchups of 2024, along with 11 rebounds, eight assists, and two steals, earning her the title of Mystics Overseas Player of the Week.
Most recently, Atkins helped the undefeated Fenerbahçe team win against Galatasaray in the highly anticipated 2025 matchup. She scored eight points on three-for-nine shooting and grabbed five rebounds against the second-ranked Turkish team.
To cap off the week, the Longhorn alum had a strong scoring performance in Fenerbahçe’s 92-56 victory over Valencia. Atkins shot 75% from the free-throw line and 60% from the field, scoring 10 points while also contributing two assists and one steal.
Atkins and Fenerbahçe will aim to continue their undefeated streak as they face the 5-9 Tarsus team this Saturday at 7:00 am ET.
