Last week, I revived a series from last season where I asked which player from the opposing team would you “steal” for the Miami Dolphins roster before a game. The first post of this season focused on the Atlanta Falcons. The Dolphins played against the Falcons and won 20 to 17 last Friday.
The question posed was:
If you could take any player from the Atlanta Falcons roster to add to the Miami Dolphins roster, who would it be and why? Who would you release from the Dolphins roster (assuming they will make the regular season roster), and why?
Here are some of the responses and thoughts:
phinette starts us off by mentioning a missed opportunity for an offensive lineman.
Matthew Bergeron. I was hoping he would still be available, but the Falcons took him in the second round.
Miami7 would choose a solid Falcons safety!
Jessie Bates III
AussieFin, like many others, desires a stronger offensive line.
Any good OL players – we need one or two more
MIAMI235 is jokingly requesting a 71-year-old quarterback…
Steve Bartkowski!
Dolfanjoe suggests taking their best guard!
Steal their best guard!
daytonadolfan is also concerned about the offensive line. It seems we all share this worry.
Maybe a center as ours keep getting injured!
George Carlin Jr agrees!
Their top offensive lineman.
TheRoo1 wants a standout tight end and a few of their offensive linemen.
Pitts, and around three starting O linemen. Let’s make it a package deal.
It seems like the consensus is for offensive line players, a trend that may continue this season. Thank you to everyone who reads and responds to the question of the day posts. Join us again tomorrow for another question of the day.
