For five seasons, she’s been on an Athletes Unlimited odyssey.

The journey to the top, however, is now complete for Odyssey Sims, as the AU veteran, who has competed in every season in AU history, is now the champion.

With 6,764 Leaderboard point, Sims is the 2026 AU Pro Basketball Champion.

She finished her championship-campaign with a bang, dropping 44 points, her new AU scoring high, in the Gold Rush’s penultimate game. She then secured a perfect 3-0 week for the Gold Rush, the team she captained, with 30 points in the final.

The efforts were illustrative of her irrepressible scoring acumen. Sims, simply, just knows how to get buckets.

2nd-place medalist: Aneesah Morrow

Aneesah Morrow’s AU rookie season ended with a second-place finish on the Leaderboard, as she accumulated 5,344 points.

Morrow, unsurprisingly, averaged a double-double of almost 18 points and more than 12 boards per game. Like Sims, she closed the season strong, turning in three-straight double-doubles with of at least 20 points.

3rd-place medalist: Rebekah Gardner

It was an incredibly encouraging AU debut season for Rebekah Gardner, who proved that the injuries that had interrupted her WNBA career are behind her. She tallied 5,269 Leaderboard points, coming in just behind Morrow for third.

Gardner displayed consistent, efficient impact across the season, shooting better than 55 percent from 3 and over 96 from the free throw line as she scored in double figures in every game.

4th-place medalist: Tina Charles

Add another achievement to Tina Charles’ illustrious resume. One of the most accomplished players in women’s basketball history joined AU this season, and she showed out in classic TC fashion.

The WNBA’s second all-time scorer and top rebounder, Charles demonstrated both her still-present scoring and boarding prowess to close the season, registering a double-double in the final three games.

With 4,875 Leaderboard points, Charles earned the fourth and final medal.

Defensive Player of the Year: Natasha Mack

Natasha Mack, also new to AU, just missed out a medal, finishing fifth on the Leaderboard. Defensive Player of the Year, however, is not a bad consolation prize.

She turned in the best shot blocking season in AU history, swatting three shots per game as she finished with 35 total, a new single-season record. Mack also was AU’s best boarder, grabbing a league-best 13.2 rebounds per game.

Mack also captained the All-Defensive Team, which also included Morrow, Gardner, Kia Stokes and Jaylyn Sherrod.

Newcomer of the Year: Kaitlyn Chen

The only thing that shone brighter than Kaitlyn Chen’s smile was her game-to-game impact.

The league’s most consistent and efficient point guard, Chen was named Newcomer of the Year, with season-long averages of almost 15 points and nearly five assists per game. She also shot 48.1 percent from 3.
