ITA National Summer Championships | Full ITA Summer Series Results

Tempe, AZ – The 54 men’s and women’s automatic qualifiers for the 2025 ITA National Summer Championships powered by WTN are now determined as the ITA Summer Series powered by WTN has officially come to a close after week six tournaments concluded this past weekend.

With players gaining automatic qualification through two routes, competitors could either finish as singles semifinalists at any of the six ITA Summer Master’s Series tournaments or finish in the top three of the ITA Summer Points Race standings which reflected a player’s success over the six weekends of play across all ITA Summer Points Race Series tournaments.

Now eligible to compete in the biggest championship of the summer, these automatic qualifiers will be competing for $20,000 in total prize money at the ITA National Summer Championships as well as ITA All-American Championship wild cards (for active Division I athletes only) and USTA Pro-Level wild cards (for American players only).

Across all six week’s of the ITA Summer Master’s Series, several athletes from storied programs made deep runs at tournaments including athletes from North Carolina, Texas, Texas A&M, Illinois, Baylor, LSU, and Harvard to name a few.

For the women, North Carolina’s Alanis Hamilton (13.78 WTN) claimed her spot into the National Summer Championships during week four at Baylor. The rising sophomore for the Tar Heels recently qualified for the US Open Doubles Main Draw with partner Reese Brantmeier after winning the American Collegiate Playoff hosted by the USTA in May.

In addition to Hamilton, the Tennessee duo of Vanesa Suarez (13.47 WTN) and Saray Yli-Piipari (14.68 WTN) each qualified at Northwestern during week three. Suarez holds the best WTN rating out of any automatic qualifier and both Suarez and Yli-Piipari were integral parts of the Lady Vols team that reached the NCAA Quarterfinals this past spring.

Of the men’s automatic qualifiers, Texas returner Lucas Brown (7.23 WTN) carries the best WTN of all players. A semifinalist at the National Summer Championships in 2024, Brown was one of the nation’s top doubles players this past year with the Longhorns, earning All-American status while reaching the semifinals of the NCAA Doubles Championship in the fall with Timo Legout.

Just behind Brown are Baylor’s Luc Koenig (7.26 WTN) and Harvard’s Rohan Murali (7.44 WTN) who both carry a WTN rating in the 7’s, similar to Brown. Koenig, who will be a rising senior for the Bears, was a regular in the Baylor lineup this past season finishing 17-9 in singles and 25-9 in doubles across all matches. Meanwhile, for Murali, he will be a rising junior looking to build on a impressive sophomore campaign in which he 16-9 in singles primarily from the No. 4 position.

Making up the top three of the Points Race standings on the men’s side of play were Aidan Atwood (Indiana), Noah Lewis (Middlebury), and Daniel Harkin (Washburn). The three players all accumulated over 800 points during the six weeks of play as Atwood won three Points Race tournaments while Lewis reached the finals of three tournaments, winning one, and Harkin reached at least the semifinals of four tournaments, winning one.

For the women, the top three of the Points Race standings were Tatyana Nikolenko (Wichita State), Ellie Hammond (Davidson), and Sayuri Parandian (UC Irvine). For Nikolenko, she won two ITA Summer Series tournaments over the six weeks of play while Hammond reached at least the semifinals of three events, winning one, and Parandian reached the finals of two events, winning one.

The 2025 ITA National Summer Championships powered by WTN will be held in Memphis, Tennessee from August 9-12 at the Leftwich Tennis Center. Here, players will have the opportunity to compete in a 32 player singles draw as well as a 16 team doubles draw over the four days of play. Fans are encouraged to attend or tune into the live stream if they cannot attend the matches in person.
