Following her win, Krejcikova climbed from No. 32 to No. 10 in the WTA rankings, re-entering the top 10 after six months. Paolini, the Wimbledon runner-up, also rose in the rankings, moving from No. 7 to a career-high of No. 5.

Taylor Townsend wins doubles at Wimbledon
Taylor Townsend, a former ITF Junior World Champion, clinched her first Grand Slam doubles title at Wimbledon partnering with Kateřina Siniaková from Czechia.
The No. 4 seeds triumphed over the No. 2-ranked duo of Gabriela Dabrowski and Erin Routliffe with a 7-6(5), 7-6(1) victory in a thrilling final on Centre Court. This win adds to Siniaková’s impressive record with nine Grand Slam doubles titles, including her third Wimbledon victory.
Townsend expressed her joy after the match, stating, “This is my first one, my first Grand Slam title — I’ve been close two other times. To get over the finish line the way that we did, I think we played so well. We were just locked in, in control. We played our way. It felt good the way we did it.”
