The Butler women’s basketball program welcomed two talented players on National Signing Day. Addison Baxter (5-9, G) and Anna Wypych (6-0, G) have committed to the Bulldogs, adding depth to the guard position in Indianapolis for the next four seasons.

Columbia City High School
Baxter, a guard at Columbia City High School under head coach Amy Shearer, holds the school’s all-time scoring record with 1,162 points in three seasons as a starter. She has helped the Eagles achieve a 63-8 overall record and 19-2 record in the Northeast Eight Conference. Baxter’s performance led Columbia City to become the top-ranked team in the state in the 2023-24 season. She has received numerous awards, including being a First Team All-Northeast Eight Conference selection multiple times. Baxter also excels academically and has played for Always100 Elite 2025.
“Addi is an exceptional point guard known for her passing skills,” said Head Coach Austin Parkinson. “She impacts the game on both ends of the floor and possesses leadership qualities that will benefit the team.”
Personal: Daughter of Cory Baxter and Jennifer Patrick, Baxter has five siblings.
Anna Wypych
6-0, Guard
Rockford, Michigan
Rockford High School
Wypych, a guard at Rockford High School coached by Brad Wilson, has helped her team achieve impressive success, including a State Championship and multiple Conference Championships. She holds several school records and has been recognized as an All-State and All-Conference player. Wypych is also noted for her academic achievements and has played for West Michigan Drive.
“Anna is a versatile wing with scoring abilities,” added Parkinson. “She brings a winning mentality and strong defensive presence to the team.”
Personal: Daughter of Jason and Jenny Wypych, she has two siblings.
Both Baxter and Wypych chose Butler for its welcoming environment and academic opportunities, in addition to the strong basketball program.
