Brittney Griner and her wife, Cherelle, recently shared an exciting moment with fans: the first glimpse of their 4-month-old son, Bash.
The WNBA star, 33, and Cherelle, 32, revealed the precious family moment during an interview with CBS Mornings on November 26. In the photo, the couple proudly stands next to Bash’s crib, holding their baby boy dressed in skeleton pajamas and a black cap.
“Family photo shoots have become a joint effort,” Cherelle shared. “It’s a mix of smiles, tears, feeding, and naps. We cherish every moment and are excited to take our first family Christmas picture.”
On social media, fans were treated to more candid moments from Bash’s nursery through photos posted by Brittney. One image showed the trio during feeding time in a cozy white chair.
“Bash may have the best room in the house,” the basketball star captioned a series of images on Instagram, mentioning that she and Cherelle “Both fall asleep with Bash at night in that chair and wake up without any aches and pains! That’s a plus in my book!”
Continuing her post, Brittney raved about Bash’s nursery, which was designed by Crate & Kids. “We adore every detail from his incredible book wall collection to his comfy crib! He sleeps like a champ in his room alone 💤,” she shared.
Shortly after the photos were shared online, fans quickly flooded the comments section with love and compliments.
“OMG beautiful baby boy!!! So adorable and great family. Happy holidays,” one person exclaimed.

The couple, who tied the knot in 2019, welcomed their son on July 8. Brittney confirmed Bash’s arrival while speaking with CBS Sports before the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris.
“That’s my man. He is amazing,” the gold medalist told the publication at the time. “They said as soon as you see them, everything that you thought mattered just goes out the window. That’s literally what happened.” She admitted balancing motherhood with her career hasn’t been easy. “It kind of sucks because I have to leave, but at the same time, he will understand,” she said.
