McLaren Racing and Mastercard have teamed up in a multi-year partnership where the global payments leader will become a significant sponsor of the McLaren Formula 1 Team.
According to McLaren’s statement, “the collaboration brings together two leading brands known for their focus on innovation and for setting the bar in offering amazing experiences that connect people to their passions and each other.”
Mastercard has assured that the new collaboration will provide cardholders with “exceptional access to some of the most thrilling properties in sports and entertainment, extending into the realm of Formula 1 and the McLaren Racing team.”
Mastercard branding will be featured on McLaren’s cars, driven by Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri, later in the 2024 season.
In response to the partnership, Raja Rajamannar, Chief Marketing and Communications Officer at Mastercard, stated: “We are continuously seeking ways to add value to our customers and cardholders.
