Butler to Host WNIT Action Sunday at 1 PM

The Butler women’s basketball team will host a Round 2 WNIT contest on Sunday afternoon. The 1 p.m. tip at Hinkle Fieldhouse will be against the winner of the first-round game between UAB and UIC. The Flames will host the Blazers Friday night at 8 p.m.
 
Butler received a first-round bye in the postseason tournament after making the tournament field as an at-large selection for the second-straight season. The Bulldogs head into the weekend with a 15-17 overall record. UIC went 14-17 overall while competing in the Missouri Valley and UAB posted a 16-15 record while competing in the American Athletic Conference.
 
Lower-level reserved tickets will cost $10 each while courtside options will also be available for $20 per ticket. Parking for the event is free and Butler students can come to the game for free!
