ABOUT THE BULLDOGS

Butler (7-6, 1-2 BE) is coming off a 64-58 victory over Xavier last Friday. Caroline Dotsey led the Bulldogs with a season-high 25 points on an efficient 9-for-15 shooting performance from the floor. Dotsey added eight rebounds, two assists and a steal against the Musketeers. The Havertown, Pa. native earned a spot on the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll for her performance against Xavier.
Butler forced 15 Xavier turnovers, marking the 15th time in the last 16 games that BU has forced its opponents to commit double-digit turnovers.
Lily Zeinstra leads the BU offense, averaging 10.9 points per game. The sophomore is shooting 46.9-percent from the floor and 38.0-percent from beyond the arc. Dotsey leads the squad on the glass, pulling down 5.2 rebounds per game.
Butler had six players score in double figures against Dayton on Nov. 28 (Lily Zeinstra 19, Anna Wypych 12, Caroline Dotsey 12, Saniya Jackson 11, Mallory Miller 10 and Nevaeh Jackson 10). That was the first time Butler has had six players in double figures in the last 15 seasons. The last time Butler had six score in double digits was Dec. 12, 2010, when Butler defeated Ball State 105-98.
Saniya and Nevaeh Jackson have been stellar for BU, averaging 9.0 and 6.9 points per game, respectively. Nevaeh pulls down 2.3 rebounds per game while Saniya grabs 3.8.
Butler currently ranks 72nd nationally and fifth in the BIG EAST in field goal percentage shooting at a 44.5-percent clip. BU is in the top 100 nationally in free throw percentage (74.5%; 66th) and assists per game (15.2; 90th).
Butler returns three letterwinners from a year ago and added nine new players to the team with the addition of seven transfers and two freshmen.
Austin Parkinson enters his fourth season at the helm of the Bulldogs. Parkinson has led the squad to 42 wins in his first three seasons.

SCOUTING NO. 1 UCONN

UConn enters Sunday’s contest with a 12-0 overall record and a 3-0 mark in BIG EAST play. The Huskies are currently No. 1 in the NET rankings and boast a 4-0 record in quad one contests with all four victories being over ranked teams.
UConn is on a 28-game winning streak dating back to last season. The last time the Huskies lost a game was Feb. 6, 2025 against the Tennessee Volunteers. UConn then rattled off a 16-game winning streak en route to the program’s 12th national championship.
Azzi Fudd and Sarah Strong lead the UConn offense averaging 18.5 and 18.3 points per game, respectively. Strong also leads the Huskies on the glass pulling down 8.4 rebounds per game.
Geno Auriemma is in his 41st season at the helm of UConn. Auriemma has led UConn to 12 NCAA Championships, 24 Final Fours, six perfect seasons and 61 conference championships during his time in Storrs.

Butler University Upgrades Iconic Hinkle Fieldhouse with Dynamic LED Video

Technology consultant Anthony James Partners (AJP) provided design, procurement, and construction administration services for the upgrades, supporting Butler in selecting SNA Displays to manufacture and install more than 2,700 square feet of LED video display technology, including a center hung display system, baseline LED ribbons, multiple courtside tables, and other digital signage.

The centerpiece of the project is a new LED center hung display consisting of four curved, 14-foot-tall video screens seamlessly connected to create a continuous 360-degree video surface. Each side features a 4 mm pixel pitch for increased pixel density and clarity. The center hung also includes custom static lettering along the top ring of the structure and a team-branded Bulldog logo facing downward toward the playing surface.

Other video signage includes 3-foot-high LED ribbons along the second-level fascia at both ends of the Fieldhouse, two 19-foot-long vomitory displays between the second and third levels, and eight new courtside mobile scorer’s tables equipped with LED screens. For recruitment and training purposes, the project also features two new ASPECTâ„¢ all-in-one 16:9 video screens from SNA Displays in an adjacent practice facility, directly integrated into the new control management system.

UP NEXT
Butler will return to action in 2026 as the Bulldogs open the new year on Jan. 4 at Creighton. Tip-off at the Wayne and Eileen Ryan Athletic Center and D.J. Skol Arena is slated for 2 p.m. ET / 1 p.m. CT. Fans can stream the game live on ESPN+.
