The Butler women’s basketball team is set to embark on an 18-game conference schedule for the 2024-25 season. The season kicks off with an away game against DePaul on Dec. 21, followed by the BIG EAST home opener against Seton Hall on Dec. 29.
January will see the ‘Dawgs facing off against Creighton on Jan. 1 in Omaha, followed by a Saturday game at Marquette. The team will then host four out of the next five games at home, playing against Providence (Jan. 8), Georgetown (Jan. 14), Creighton (Jan. 22), and DePaul (Jan. 26), with a road trip to Xavier on Jan. 18. The month concludes with an away game against Seton Hall on Jan. 29.
February will feature an equal split of home and away games, with notable matchups against UConn, Villanova, and Marquette at home, while traveling to Georgetown and St. John’s. The regular season will conclude on Feb. 26 with a game at Villanova.
The Bulldogs look to build on their success from last season, where they made it to the WNIT field. Second Team All-BIG EAST selection Caroline Strande returns to lead the team, after being the first Bulldog since 2019 to earn Second Team honors and the first in program history to lead in points, rebounds, and assists in a single season.
