Caitlin Clark and Aliyah Boston are key players in the Indiana Fever securing a spot in the WNBA playoffs for the first time since 2016. Boston, the top pick in the 2023 WNBA draft, and Clark, the top pick in the 2024 WNBA draft, have formed a strong duo on the court this season. They have also developed a good friendship off the court.
Their friendship is evident before each game when they exchange positive messages on the bench, leading to humorous press conferences throughout the season. After the Fever’s overtime victory against the Dream, they were asked if the atmosphere resembled a playoff game.
Clark responded, “We’ve never played in a playoff game though, so.”
To which Boston quickly replied, “Well, I’d assume, right?”
Clark then joked, “I mean, can you predict the future?”
Boston responded, “Maybe?! Maybe we can.”
