After playing 26 games in the WNBA, Caitlin Clark, the rookie for the Indiana Fever, has already amassed 213 assists, averaging 8.2 assists per game.
Clark is not only set to break the WNBA rookie record for assists in a season but could also surpass Alyssa Thomas’ overall record of 316 set in 2023.
What makes her performance even more impressive is a tweet by StatMamba, later confirmed by Sports Illustrated, that highlights the incredible fact that Clark already has more career assists than 75.4% of all players in WNBA history.

With 213 assists, Clark currently ranks 268th in WNBA history, surpassing about 75% of all players in terms of career assists.
If she maintains her 8.2 assists per game, she will break both Ticha Penicheiro’s rookie season record and Thomas’ record for assists in a single season, potentially putting her in the top 20% of all-time for career assists and on track to surpass Sue Bird’s all-time WNBA assist record of 3,234.
The former Iowa standout has garnered immense popularity and will look to guide the Fever to a strong finish in her debut professional season after the break.
