Caitlin Clark has made a huge impact in her rookie season in the WNBA, also earning a spot in the All-Star Game.
Clark is one of the 12 players selected to play in the 2024 All-Star Game, alongside fellow rookie Angel Reese. Clark received the highest number of fan votes among all players. Reese and Clark will be on the same team for the game.
Despite her popularity, Clark has impressive stats, averaging 16.2 points and 6.9 assists per game, ranking among the top in the league. Reese also has notable numbers, averaging 13.3 points and leading the league in rebounds with 11.4 per game. Both were named rookies of the month in different months.
The 2024 All-Star Game will feature USA women’s basketball team against the rest of the All-Stars, as a preparation for the Paris Olympics. Players like A’ja Wilson and Breanna Stewart will represent Team USA in the game.
The All-Star selections were based on a combination of fan votes, player votes, and media votes. The top 10 players not on Team USA were selected for the All-Star Game, including Clark, Boston, Hamby, and Ogunbowale. The remaining spots were filled by voting from the WNBA coaches.
