Recent interactions amongst Indiana Fever teammates have been filled with playful banter. During a mini-golf competition in the gym, rookie player Caitlin Clark was teased by Power Forward Aliyah Boston on a viral Instagram video. Clark, however, jokingly asked Boston to stop teasing her.
A video of the Fever players playing mini-golf was shared on the team’s Instagram account. In the comments section, Boston teased Clark about her scores compared to Boston’s. Clark responded by asking Boston to leave her alone.
Aliyah Boston wrote in the comments section; “@caitlinclark22 what do you think about this video ? bow bow bow”
Shortly after this, the Lowa Hawkeyes player asked Boston to leave her alone and wrote; “@aliyah.boston plz leave me alone.”
This friendly banter is not new between the two players. They previously engaged in team-building activities, like a home run derby-style competition, where Clark’s squad won. Clark playfully teased Boston, who responded by promising to win the next competition.
Both players have had impressive performances this season, with Clark being a top contender for Rookie of The Year. Boston, drafted in 2023, has also shown impressive stats this season. Indiana Fever had a slow start but has recovered to take the seventh spot in the standings.
The team will resume its season against the Phoenix Mercury on August 16, and fans are eager to see how they perform in the remaining events and if they can make it to the playoffs.
