Caitlin Clark is making waves in her first WNBA season, setting records and making history. After breaking the Indiana Fever franchise record for three-pointers in a season, she surpassed Sabrina Ionescu and Diana Taurasi for the most games with 25 points, five rebounds, and five assists in a single season, according to StatMamba.
This latest feat showcases Clark’s versatility as an elite scorer, great positional rebounder, and possibly the best passer in the WNBA. Adding to her list of accomplishments this season, she also holds records for rookie assists, rookie three-pointers made, and double-doubles by a guard.
Unfortunately, the Fever’s momentum was slowed down by the Minnesota Lynx, who defeated them 99-88 in Indiana. Clark finished with 25 points, eight rebounds, and eight assists, while Napheesa Collier led the Lynx with 26 points and 10 boards.

The loss snapped a five-game winning streak for the Fever, marking their first defeat since facing the Lynx on Aug. 24. Despite this setback, Indiana has won seven of their nine games since the season resumed post-Olympics.
The Lynx’s victory elevated them to the No. 2 seed, while Indiana remained at No. 6. This positioning would potentially keep the Fever from facing Minnesota until the second round, which seems to be the preferred scenario after two recent losses to the Lynx. Regardless of the outcome, Clark’s record-breaking performances continue to solidify her path to greatness.
