For as talented as Indiana Fever rookie Caitlin Clark is on the basketball court, she may be even more impressive off of it.
Given the constant attention on the 22-year-old former Iowa Hawkeye, it’s fascinating to see how well-spoken she is in front of a microphone, how gracefully she presents herself on camera, and the care she shows towards her large fanbase.
She always makes time to sign one more autograph, take one more photo, and create one more special moment with a young fan that they will cherish forever. This is a big part of why Clark is so beloved.
However, she does not engage much with fans on social media.
While Clark has an Instagram presence, her posts seem highly curated, and she is rarely active on X. Nevertheless, Clark recently posted on X to mark the end of her first WNBA season since her humorous August 18 post about being a Lexie Hull fan account.
“Year one ✅ — thank you to the many people who have supported me as I’ve lived my childhood dream. I’m filled with gratitude as I look back on this past year. See you all in year two 🖤💫,” she expressed.
It’s touching to hear Clark talk about how basketball has been her lifelong dream, especially with videos of her playing the sport as a young girl surfacing on social media recently.
Though fans will have to wait a while before seeing Clark in a regular season game again, it’s certain that she will make the wait worthwhile.
