Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark recently completed her first WNBA season, and it was a huge success. Clark averaged 19.2 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 8.4 assists per game, earning her the Rookie of the Year award and a spot on the All-Star team.
She also made it to the All-WNBA First Team and finished in the top five in MVP voting in her debut season. With such a strong start, Clark has the potential to be one of the greatest players in WNBA history.
Despite her own accomplishments, Clark publicly expressed her admiration for Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James, calling him the greatest basketball player of all time.

Debates about the greatest basketball player of all time often include Michael Jordan, but LeBron James has a strong case as well. James has an impressive list of achievements in the NBA, including four MVP awards, 20 All-Star selections, a scoring title, and six All-Defensive honors.
His success in leading multiple teams to championships also adds to his legacy. James is one of the few players to win NBA titles with three different teams, including two with the Miami Heat, one with the Cleveland Cavaliers, and one with the Lakers in 2020.
As Caitlin Clark prepares for her second WNBA season after a stellar rookie year, fans are eager to see how she will continue to shine in the league. The 2025 WNBA season kicks off on May 16, just after the 2025 WNBA Draft.
