Even though she was inexplicably left off Team USA’s roster for the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, we knew it was only a matter of time for Caitlin Clark.
The 2024 WNBA Rookie of the Year was not only dynamic during her first season in the league, but smashed multiple WNBA and Indiana Fever records along the way.
Before becoming the Rookie of the Year, there was a hot debate going around on whether Clark should make the 2024 Summer Olympics roster for Team USA, which she was ultimately left off of.
After a season to forget in 2025 that was marred by multiple injuries, Clark is back on the court and finally earned a spot on Team USA’s roster.
Clark was named to Team USA’s roster for the World Cup Qualifiers
After finally getting healthy, Clark, alongside Indiana Fever teammate Aliyah Boston, will represent Team USA in March during the 2026 World Cup Qualifiers.

Clark is one of 12 players selected for the Qualifiers, which will take place at a tournament from March 11 to 17 in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
Team USA will be anchored by two-time World Cup champion Kelsey Plum, Kahleah Cooper, and Chelsea Gray.
Cooper and Gray have each one one World Cup title.
Clark, Paige Buekers, Sonia Citron, Kiki Iriafen, and Angel Reese will be making their senior team debuts.
This has been a long time coming for Clark, who has represented the USA at the junior level in multiple tournaments and has been one of the best players on the planet since her time at the University of Iowa.
During her brief two-year WNBA career, Clark has averaged 18.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 8.5 assists per game for the Indiana Fever.
