Caitlin Clark is set to make her return on Sunday.
The top pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft is aiming for her sixth consecutive double-double as the Indiana Fever (10-14) travel to Minneapolis to face the Minnesota Lynx (16-7) on Sunday.
After a victory against the Phoenix Mercury on Friday, where Clark matched the franchise’s assist per game record with 13, the Fever will be looking to continue their momentum. Clark currently averages 7.6 assists per game, second only to Alyssa Thomas of the Connecticut Sun (7.9), and has achieved double-digit assists in five straight games.
On the other hand, the Lynx managed to defeat the New York Liberty without Napheesa Collier, who has been out with a foot injury since July 4. It remains uncertain if Collier will be back in action by Sunday.
