The Indiana Fever faced off against the Dallas Wings on Sunday with the hopes of stringing together consecutive wins after an up-and-down season.

Prior to tipoff, Clark addressed the team’s volatility — they’ve remained on or around .500 throughout the year — and expressed the importance of consistency for her squad.
”I feel like this stretch, you know this is a big game for us,” Clark said. “I think we’ve struggled, and the fact that we’re able to play one good game, and then we play a bad game, and then we play a good game, and then we play a bad game. So I think for us it’s like we gotta find a way to be able to stack really good games together.”

The Fever went on to dominate the Wings 102-83, with Clark finishing the game with 14 points, three rebounds and 13 assists.

The 2024 No. 1 overall pick also made WNBA history in several ways. She became the fastest guard in WNBA history to reach 100 assists in a season and also the fastest to reach both 200 points and 100 assists. Clark now ranks third in WNBA history for most games with 10+ points, 10+ assists and 5+ steals and fifth for the most double-doubles with points and assists.
Indiana now looks ahead to a two-game road trip where it will visit the Connecticut Sun and the New York Liberty before returning home to Gainbridge Fieldhouse, home of this year’s All-Star weekend. The Fever will then return to New York to face the Liberty again after the All-Star break.
