Caitlin Clark and boyfriend Connor McCaffery shared sweet tributes Thursday to celebrate two years together on social media.
The Fever superstar and McCaffery, an assistant coach at Butler, included black and white photos that showed them hugging and holding hands.
“Another year with my favorite person 🙂 I’m so thankful for you 🖤🖤,” Clark wrote.
McCaffery, who served as an assistant for the Pacers in the 2023-24 season, commented with a red heart emoji.
He also reshared Clark’s post to his Instagram Story.
Taking to Threads, McCaffery posted another snapshot of the couple holding hands.
“2 years ♾️ keep being u 🖤,” he wrote, adding a black heart emoji and an infinity symbol.
The couple’s second anniversary came after McCaffery gushed over Clark in a tribute he penned for her 23rd birthday on Jan. 22.
“You have an incredible ability to inspire and lift up those around you, and I am lucky to learn from you every day,” he wrote. “Thank you for always being you 🤞🏼I love you 🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼.”
McCaffery is a former member of Iowa’s men’s basketball team and the son of University of Pennsylvania men’s basketball coach Fran McCaffery.
The elder McCaffery left the University of Iowa after 15 seasons and was the Hawkeyes’ all-time winningest coach with 297 victories.
Clark, the 2024 WNBA Rookie of the Year, and McCaffery are said to have met during their college days at Iowa.
She went public with their relationship in August 2023 when she shared photos of the couple on a boat.
Clark, the No. 1 pick by Indiana in the 2024 WNBA Draft, will begin her sophomore season when the Fever tip off the 2025 regular season schedule at Gainbridge Fieldhouse against the Chicago Sky on May 17.
