The Indiana Fever stormed back from a Game 1 loss to topple the Atlanta Dream 77-60 in Game 2 of their best-of-three first-round WNBA playoff series on Tuesday night.

However, hours later, a separate storyline unfolded on social media as DoorDash publicly apologized to veteran guard Sydney Colson and earned praise from star Caitlin Clark in a bid to smooth over a botched cookie order.

Wednesday morning, DoorDash’s official Instagram account shared a video captioned “forgive us @sydjcolson 💔.” The clip cut between the Fever’s hotel room, where Colson and teammates first discovered their cookie order was missing key items and the bakery counter, where staff presented Colson with 100 free cookies and a note reading, “sorry syd 💔 enjoy your 100 cookies!”

Among the first to chime in, Clark wrote, “You guys are so forgiven,” to which DoorDash replied, “Thank you queen.” Clark closed the exchange with, “Thank you for plugging everyone w gift cards.”

Clark entered her second WNBA season as one of the most electrifying scorers in league history. Unfortunately, a right groin strain suffered on July 15 forced Clark out for the remainder of the season, dashing hopes of re-creating the success she had in her first pro year.

In 13 regular-season appearances, she averaged 16.5 points, 8.8 assists, 5 rebounds and 1.6 steals per game, shooting 36.7% from the field and 27.9% from three-point range while logging 31.1 minutes per contest.

Despite Clark’s absence, the Fever navigated several grueling injuries to finish 24-20 in the regular season, secure the No. 6 seed (No. 3 in the Eastern Conference) and claim the Commissioner’s Cup title on July 1.

Their Game 2 playoff win on Tuesday night marked the franchise’s first postseason victory at Gainbridge Fieldhouse since 2015.

Indiana now braces for a decisive Game 3 in Atlanta on Thursday, a game in which the Dream (-350) are 7.5-point favorites with a 154.5-point over/under, according to ESPN BET.

Atlanta hosts Indiana at 7:30 p.m. ET Thursday on ESPN2.
