Caitlin Clark is no stranger to breaking records.
The WNBA star had a historic debut season with the Indiana Fever in 2024, en-route to being named the league’s Rookie of the Year.

Her impact has also been felt off the court, and Clark has been credited for the popularity boom of women’s basketball.
And now, despite being deep in the WNBA offseason, she is setting new records in the world of sports memorabilia.
On Saturday night (March 29), a one-of-a-kind Caitlin Clark autograph rookie card sold in a Goldin auction for a massive $366,000.
That shattered the previous record of $266,400, which was paid for a 2003 NetPro Serena Williams Rookie Patch Autograph in May 2022.
Williams’ card featured a piece of one of her match-worn tennis outfits.
Clark’s though, smashed that previous high by $100,000.
Her 2024 Panini Prizm WNBA Signatures Gold Vinyl Prizm card is numbered 1-of-1 and received a perfect ten grade with a ten autograph grade from Professional Sports Authenticator, a US-based grading company.
Panini’s Prizm set is the exclusive WNBA trading card license holder’s most popular, so it’s little surprise that Clark’s autograph rookie card in that set has gone on to become her most valuable.
However, it is far from the only one that has pulled in big money.
According to The Athletic, four other Clark cards have sold for more than $97,000 each in the last 12 months.

Her Panini Select WNBA Signatures Gold Vinyl card, which sold for $234,850 on December 7 last year, is the second most valuable.
Clark’s Instant Rookie of the Year Blue Viper autographed card was sold a couple of months prior to that one, and fetched $97,212.
After news of the latest auction was shared on social media, fans were quick to dub Clark’s cards the hottest in the hobby.
“$366,000! Caitlin is the NEEDLE! Smashed the old record held by Serena by $100,000! THIS IS HUGE!” one person wrote on X.
“OMG! That’s insane!” another said of the price.
“I stopped bidding on it when it hit $13k. I figured this just ain’t for me,” a third said.

“That is insane, you could buy a decent house for that. Caitlin is literally an economy and she deals in $$$ and gold, she’s a monster on the court and a monster off it,” a fourth concluded.
The Fever star herself has not yet responded to news of her rookie card selling for $360,000.
Right now, she will be fully focused on the upcoming WNBA season, which is set to tip off in May.
Indiana’s campaign begins on Saturday, May 17, against Angel Reese’s Chicago Sky.
