Caitlin Clark’s rookie season reached a new milestone on Wednesday night as she set a new WNBA record with 19 assists in the Indiana Fever’s 101-93 loss to the Dallas Wings.
The top pick in the April draft, Clark is gradually adjusting to the professional level and will showcase her skills in the upcoming WNBA All-Star Game on Saturday. She capped off Wednesday’s game with 24 points and six rebounds along with her record-breaking assists.
One of her standout plays of the night was an incredible behind-the-back pass to Aliyah Boston, although it didn’t result in a score.
