LA Sparks forward Cameron Brink had a significant year in 2024. Despite being drafted second to the WNBA, her rookie season was cut short after just 15 games due to tearing her ACL. In September, she and Ben Felter announced their engagement.
Reflecting on the past year, Brink expressed her feelings by commenting “best year ever” on an Instagram post. Shortly after, Jack McCaffery, brother of Connor McCaffery, briefly messaged her with a simple “hey” before deleting it.
Jack McCaffery, who is part of a family with strong ties to Butler, is the boyfriend of Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark. Along with his brothers’ connections to Butler, their father, Fran McCaffery, coaches the Iowa men’s team.
