Caitlin Clark’s team, the Indiana Fever , is coming to the 2025 WNBA season not short on firepower, as the franchise recently acquired big shots that would work alongside their already formidable roster. Among their newest member was two-time WNBA Champion and former Las Vegas Aces point guard Sydney Colson.
In a recent courtside interview, Sydney Colson opened up about what made her ultimately decide to sign with Caitlin Clark’s team, and the feeling she had prior to it.
“It really came down to me knowing a few of the players that were there,” Colson said . “I played with Kelsey Mitchell here at AAU for the first three seasons and we developed just like a really close bond and relationship. We check on each other in the offseason. Like hitting each other during the season, during games. I just knew that if she was going back, I was gonna be really comfortable with the situation.”
