Caitlin Clark’s Indiana Fever teammate Lexie Hull is enthusiastic about her team’s participation in the newly established 3-on-3 Unrivaled Basketball League. She is a member of the Rose Basketball Club, which includes Chicago Sky All-Star Angel Reese.
Rose BC recently posted a carousel of photos on their Instagram profile featuring their lineup for Unrivaled, which is scheduled to begin its inaugural season on Jan. 17 in Miami. In the images, the players are dressed up and holding roses as they pose for the camera.
The team captioned their post with:
“YOUR HALF DOZEN ROSES HAVE ARRIVED 🌹 #Rosebc”
Lexie Hull took to the comments section to express her admiration for the photos, commenting:
“Look how cuuuuuute ❤️❤️❤️”
In addition to Lexie Hull and Reese, other players in Rose BC include Chelsea Gray (Las Vegas Aces), Kahleah Copper (Phoenix Mercury), Brittney Sykes (Washington Mystics), and Azura Stevens (LA Sparks). The team will be coached by former college player and coach Nola Henry.
The team is one of six teams set to compete in the inaugural season of Unrivaled, a league co-founded by WNBA stars Breanna Stewart (New York Liberty) and Napheesa Collier (Minnesota).
The league aims to provide a viable platform for women’s professional players to showcase their skills and earn significant income. Unrivaled will run for three months with all games broadcast on Warner Bros. Discovery’s TNT Sports.
Lexie Hull’s Transition to Unrivaled after WNBA Success
Lexie Hull will be part of the Unrivaled Basketball League after a successful WNBA season with the Indiana Fever, where she experienced both individual and team accomplishments.
Playing alongside rookie Caitlin Clark in her third year in the league, Hull showcased her skills by achieving a career-high 5.5 points and a 47.1% 3-point percentage last season. She also contributed to the Fever’s playoff appearance for the first time in eight years and was considered for the Sixth Woman of the Year award.
Hull received admiration from her teammates, including WNBA Rookie of the Year Clark, who described her as inspiring in a comment on the Fever’s Instagram post about Hull.
Off the court, Hull and Clark developed a strong bond, which translated into a successful on-court dynamic throughout the season. In her three seasons with the Fever after a standout collegiate career at Stanford, Hull has averaged 4.7 points, 2.3 rebounds, and a steal in 90 games.
Now in Unrivaled, she is expected to bring her trademark hustle and shooting ability to the Rose Basketball Club.
