Cameron Brink, the 6-foot-4 star of the WNBA, leaves the door open to Playboy, under one condition

If the name Cameron Brink still doesn’t ring a bell, lock in this image: a 6-foot-4 center developed at Stanford University, now starring for the Los Angeles Sparks, and fast emerging as the defining style icon of women’s basketball’s new generation. 

While Caitlin Clark is rewriting the scoring record books, Brink is reshaping the league’s aesthetic conversation.

After a breakout 2025 that sent her profile soaring (including an appearance in the iconic Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue), Brink is back in the spotlight for addressing one of sport’s lingering taboos head-on: posing nude for legendary magazines such as Playboy.

“Playboy? Yes, maybe… but”

Known for her daring pregame looks that routinely go viral, Brink was asked by TMZ whether she would consider posing for the famed bunny magazine. She didn’t flinch. Instead, she left the door ajar, with a crucial condition.

“Yeah, maybe! We’ll see… maybe!” she said, laughing. There is, however, one final hurdle before any such shoot could happen: her fiancé’s approval.

“Only if my fiancé approves,” Brink added. She got engaged in late 2024 to her longtime partner, and it’s clear the decision would be a shared one.

More than just a pretty face

While her name is only now gaining traction in Spain amid the WNBA’s global surge, Brink has already made it clear she’s comfortable in front of the camera. 

Last year, she said on her podcast that artistic nudity “isn’t an issue” for her and that she places full trust in professional photographers. “Honestly, I trust creatives. I’m usually pretty open to it,” she explained.

Brink is part of the broader “WNBA revolution,” alongside players like Angel Reese, athletes who aren’t just filling arenas, but who understand that their off-court image can be as influential as their performance on it.

For now, though, any Playboy appearance will have to wait for a very personal green light: a future husband’s “I do.”
