Cavs to give Evan Mobley max extension soon?

ESPN’s Brian Windhorst has revealed an important update on Mobley’s contract situation. According to ESPN Cleveland, Windhorst anticipates a new deal with Mobley to be finalized in the near future. “I would expect the contract to be done somewhat soon,” Windhorst stated. “I think the Cavs are prepared to offer him the max, and honestly, they have no grounds to stand on considering that his peers from the same draft class with similar performance and potential have already received the max contracts.” Source: Sports Illustrated
