EA Sports released the latest edition of their popular soccer video game, FC 25, on Friday. This new version features enhanced playability and storytelling in the women’s side of the game.
For the first time ever, EAFC introduces Women’s Manager and Player Career Mode to the game. This mode allows players to access rosters from the top women’s leagues around the world, including NWSL, WSL, Première Ligue, Frauen-Bundesliga, Liga F, and UEFA Women’s Champions League for the 2024/25 season.
Gotham forward Midge Purce expressed her excitement about the new addition to the game at Thursday’s launch party in New York City. She emphasized the importance of the authentic representation of women in the Career Mode feature.

Last year, FC 24 introduced women’s football athletes to their popular Ultimate Team mode. This year’s upgrade marks a significant shift in programming for EA FC, showing their commitment to promoting women’s soccer in their game.
Women’s soccer athletes in FC 25 are now on par with their male counterparts, offering a more integrated approach to gameplay.
EA FC 25 now includes Women’s Manager Career Mode, allowing users to manage women’s teams and transition to managing men’s teams as well. The game also allows athletes from both men’s and women’s leagues to play on the same squads in the Ultimate Team mode.
