I expressed my gratitude to her when we entered the gym, thanking her for paving the way for players like me.
Although she may not get to experience it for as long as I will, she has laid the foundation for me to be here.
She humbly acknowledged my thanks, stating that this opportunity is well-deserved.
I truly appreciate her for that, as her remarkable legacy speaks for itself.
It’s essential to show appreciation to those who have cleared the path before you.
Diana Taurasi is renowned as one of the greatest competitors in women’s basketball history, making her an opponent we love to hate.
Her ability to excel in high-pressure situations, make crucial shots, and understand the game and her teammates is invaluable.
Having competed in six Olympics is a remarkable achievement, and it has been a privilege for me to work alongside her all these years.
I am honored to be a head coach and guide D at this level of competition.
