The Chicago Sky were fortunate enough to land two game-changing players in the first round of the 2024 WNBA Draft last season. Angel Reese and Kamilla Cardoso were the best rookie duo in the league by far, as both made their mark with strong inside scoring and the ability to rebound the basketball.
Still, the Sky missed the playoffs last season and were slated to have the No. 3 pick in this year’s draft, until they sent that selection to the Washington Mystics in exchange for All-Star guard Ariel Atkins. Now, Chicago has the No. 10 pick in the first round, which they can use on another great young player.
